One of our academicians, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menekşe Bulut, participated in the COST action programs held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, as a representative of our University.
Programs were organized within the scope of COST actions at the National Agriculture and Food Center Food Research Institute in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia..
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menekşe Bulut, one of our Food Engineering Department academicians who is a Working Group Member (WG) in the COST CA21149 (ACRYRED) action, also participated in two different programs representing our University.
Within the scope of the programs, professional groups from different disciplines dealing with the Acrylamide issue came together to discuss the results obtained so far and to plan future work activities.
Additionally, presentations were made on topics related to approaches to evaluating acrylamide reduction measures in grain-based food processing.
Then, information was given about the studies conducted on the subject at the National Agriculture and Food Center, Food Research Institute.i.
The program ended after certificates were given to the participants.
